Cameron Ansari
Hamakua Coast Specialist
With an English boarding school education and a childhood spent in the south of England, Cameron brings an Old World sensibility to representing both buyers and sellers along the Hāmākua Coast. For him, land is the most enduring asset a family can possess over generations.
Cameron began his 25-year real estate career after leaving Paris and resettling in Houston, Texas. There he represented buyers and sellers of multi-million-dollar properties – many of significant architectural interest – in the exclusive River Oaks area, as well as doing business in Cuernavaca, Mexico.
A few years ago, a vacation drive along the Hāmākua Coast’s sea cliffs reminded Cameron of his childhood roots in Dorset. Enchanted by the lush rainforests, deeply carved gulches and panoramic ocean views, Cameron, his wife and son decided to permanently relocate to Hawaii. They bought an orchard above the village of Ninole where they now grow tropical fruit and raise sheep.
Cameron is a graduate of the London School of Economics, with the result that he takes a thoroughly business-like approach to luxury real-estate marketing. “I’m a great believer in using business tools and methods to sell high-end properties,” he says. “Database marketing, statistical analysis of market areas, professionally designed high-quality marketing materials and e-commercial methods are all part of my selling strategy.”
Cameron knows that, when it comes to choosing a homestead, the heart often leads. He sets out to walk the small roads of the Hāmākua Coast nearly every morning, taking his German shepherd Ryka up into the eucalyptus groves above ʻŌʻōkala and down to the seaside cattle pastures that border the Old Mamalahoa Highway at Onomea Bay. Have a Hāmākua dream? Cameron will help you realize it.
